Pamela Anderson is a famous Canadian actress, model and sex symbol, most famous for her starring role in the hit series 'Baywatch'. She is a widely recognized name and personality, especially known for her stunning good looks.
Pamela Denise Anderson was born in Ladysmith, British Colombia in 1967. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Vancouver, where she grew up. In 1989 she was displayed on the stadium screen of a B.C. Lions game wearing a Labatt's beer T-Shirt, and coincidentally there was a Labatt's representative in the audience as well. She was hired by the beer company to model for an advertising campaign. Soon after she made her first of an eventual total of five appearances in Hugh Hefner's Playboy magazine. She then had a breast augmentation, starting her fame for large breast size that she is still known for today.
With her Playboy appearances, Pamela Anderson was a North American celebrity already, but it wasn't until she began her TV acting career that she garnered worldwide fame. Her career as an actress began with two series on the television series Home Improvement, in 1991 and 1992. When she starred on the series Baywatch in 1992, she became an overnight international celebrity. She continued on the Baywatch series until 1997.
