Nerdy boys love hot chicks. Duh. But do you know what nerdy boys love more than hot chicks? Hot chicks that take interest in something they&aposre into. You know, like anything remotely technical. And Jessica Biel is going to fulfill every nerd boy&aposs fantasy this Saturday. That&aposs when she&aposll host the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences&apos Scientific and Technical Awards. And why not, really? We already know she&aposs good at throwing Super Bowl parties/Justin Timberlake b-day bashes. A gig hosting a tech award show couldn&apost be much different, right? But wait, is Jessica even remotely techie? When was the last time you heard her talk about zip drives and bandwidth? Um, never. Moving on. Do you wanna hook yourself an HTML hottie? A loaded (by loaded I mean cash - don&apost get gross on me here) techie? The ceremony will take place at the Beverly Wilshire in Bev Hills. Biz vet Ed Catmull, whose credits include Toy Story and Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan will be there. He&aposs being awarded for his technical contributions and leadership in the field of computer graphics. And he&aposll definitely wanna party it up after receiving this award. You could be there when he rejoices by firing up the Xbox and riffs his way to Guitar Hero mega stardom. Watch out world - this bad boy is about to rock out!

Michael Phelps may have admitted to "bad judgment" after a photo of him apparently inhaling from a marijuana pipe was published, but the sheriff in Columbia, S.C., where the incident took place last November, could have the final word. In a statement issued Tuesday, Sheriff Leon Lott Jr. said an investigation is underway – and charges could be pending against the Olympic star, 23. "If someone breaks the law in Richland County, we have an obligation as law enforcement to investigate and to bring charges," the statement said. "The Richland County Sheriff's Department is making an effort to determine if Mr. Phelps broke the law. If he did, he will be charged in the same manner as anyone else. The Sheriff has a responsibility to be fair, to enforce the law and to not turn a blind eye because someone is a celebrity."

Tuesdays are big in entertainmentville: Not only do all the new DVD releases hit Netflix, but new music also pours into stores. So I take a spin through each week's music releases and pick out some albums and tracks worthy of a download. Here are today's selections: Music for the TV: When I think of The Fray I can't help but associate them with the golden era of Grey's Anatomy. Nothing too different going on here, but "You Found Me" is emotional and "Never Say Never" is a pretty track. Idol success: Remember when Melinda Doolittle was on American Idol and every single time she sang the judges were all, "You are perfect"? I'm pretty sure they said that every single time. Anyway, now her first album is out and critics think she's pretty great too. Check out some of her soulful tracks including "Fundamental Things" and
