Here's news worth Dancing about. ABC will announce the cast of Dancing with the Stars' eighth season on Sunday during an "All Night Name Drop" event that kicks off at 8 pm/ET. Host Tom Bergeron will make the announcement in interstitials throughout the Alphabet's prime-time programming, which includes Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Desperate Housewives, and Brothers & Sisters. This is the first time ABC has revealed a cast in this format. While the network made a prime-time reveal for Season 6's cast following the finale of Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann, ABC has never spread the announcement over a full night of programming. The cast list will be immediately updated on ABC.com following each on-air announcement. Good Morning America will interview one of the new cast members Monday morning, and a cast member will also stop by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Feb. 10. Season 8 kicks off Monday, March 9, at 8 pm/ET.
